CARD MRI receives Diploma of Service

CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) through its Microfinance and Health Protection (MaHP) Unit, was given Diploma of Service for being one of the “Blood Samaritans” partners of Philippine Red Cross (PRC) San Pablo City Chapter during its 68th founding anniversary held on July 30, 2018 at San Francisco, San Pablo City. MaHP is part of CARD MRI’s support unit through which CARD MRI’s health services are delivered. One of its major activities is the Community Health Day (CHD). It is a designated day wherein CARD clients, and as well as non-clients can avail free medical, dental and optical services. This is part of the institution’s commitment to improve the lives of socio-economically challenged women and families by bringing health services closer to them. CARD MRI is a group of 21 institutions that aims to alleviate poverty in the country. Present on the said event were MaHP Deputy Director Dr. Roderick Belen (center) who received the award, PRC San Pablo City Chapter Vice President Ester Lozada (right), and PRC board members.
