The Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD), Inc. – a member of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD, Inc., Us, We) is a social development organization founded in December 1986 that provides a range of community development services to the landless poor women.

This website was created as a means to reach various individuals, groups and organizations and gather additional donation funds for the purpose of intensifying the Zero Dropout Education Scheme and other related programs.

Account Creation

If you choose to create an account in our website, we will collect your basic personal information. Donation Details

Our website only collect your donation details (such as the amount, mode of transfer and date transferred or deposited) necessary for confirming and monitoring donation funds received. We do not require or maintain your bank depository account information. We only request that you upload a proof of your donation (deposit slip, etc.) for us to confirm receipt of your donation.

Donation Amount and Currency

As of now, we are maintaining three (3) bank depository accounts for donations in Philippine Peso, US Dollar and European Union Euro. We highly recommend that you convert the amount in Philippine Peso. Any conversion gain or loss will be accounted to the respective supporter.

Donations are provided with a minimum amount per currency that is feasible to support a single program beneficiary. A maximum amount is also set, but donations beyond the maximum limit is still accepted, however, profiling of supporter and proper documentations will be done as required by the Anti Money Laundering law in the Philippines.

If you requested to receive a Certificate of Donation, the amount indicated in the document will be converted to Philippine Peso, based on the exchange rate when it was received. This is in compliance with the Revenue Regulations set forth by the Bureau of Internal Revenue of the Philippines.

Donation Fund Disclosure

As a disclosure, the fund we receive from your donations will be used as a revolving fund of the Zero Dropout Education Scheme and other related programs of CARD, Inc. for the same purpose. The amount donated cannot be withdrawn from the program. Revenues generated by the program will be used to expand our area of coverage and increase the number of program beneficiaries. It will also be used to cover all program related costs and expenses – such as the printing and mailing of Certificate of Donations, program reports, etc.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

The personal information we have collected may be used for the following;

  • To monitor and administer all donations posted in the website for the selected program;
  • To manage and respond to feedbacks, comments and recommendations for improving the programs;
  • To improve user experience by enhancing the website’s user interface, features and functionalities;
  • To promote the Zero Dropout Education Scheme and other related programs by citing supporters’ name (individual or company) and their testimonials in the “Our Supporters” page under “Our Community” in the menu – given their consent;
  • To be used as a reliable reference for issuing Certificate of Donation (upon request), publications or reports that the supporter may be entitled;
  • To be used on other purposes that may be deemed necessary for the programs.

Our website was developed and is managed by CARD MRI Information Technology, (CMIT, Inc.) (on behalf of CARD, Inc.), which is the authorized provider of I.T. products and services within CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions, where CARD, Inc. is also a member.

We (CARD, Inc.) do not hire any other third party services to make updates or changes in the website other than the authorized personnel of CMIT, Inc. Necessary steps are undertaken to ensure that the collected information is not used or disclosed other than to fulfil their service obligations.

This website contains links to other websites such as to CARD MRI, PayPal, etc. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. It will be governed by their own respective privacy policies and practices.

Confidentiality of Supporter’s Identity

Securing the privacy of our supporters is one of our top priorities. We will only display the names of those supporters who gave us their permission.
