Rizal Bank opens 26th branch in Isabela

CARD MRI Rizal Bank, Inc. opened its 26th branch on April 24, 2019. The branch, which is located in Osmeña Street, Brgy. Vira, Roxas, Isabela, aims to further extend its financial and community development services.

It is the fourth branch in the province after its branches in Cauayan, Ilagan, and Santiago to bring closer bank access and serve its growing clients in the province.

“The significant improvements in the economic condition of our clients were able to draw inspiration among other families, which resulted to a number of clients coming to us for financial and social support. Hence, to accommodate them and to provide them with the best banking services, we opened another branch in the province,” said Elma B. Valenzuela, President and CEO.

To ensure that all socio-economically challenged families in the Philippines have access to affordable and quality financial services, the bank offers microfinance loans, SME loans, and various savings programs for children and adult.

“The services we provide are accessible to everyone. The requirements needed for loan availment are also easy to comply and the processing of loan takes at least one day,” added Valenzuela.

The bank, in collaboration with other institutions under CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), also provides educational, health, and other community-based development activities to respond to the growing social needs of its clients.

CARD MRI is a group of 21 social development-oriented institutions including CARD MRI Rizal Bank, which aims to eradicate poverty in the country.

According to Valenzuela, CARD MRI is in the business of poverty eradication. “To be able to provide a more holistic approach in eradicating poverty, we also need to address the social needs of our clients,” she added.

“As a member institution, our role at CARD MRI Rizal Bank is to continuously provide financial access especially to areas where access to financing is limited,” said Valenzuela.

CARD MRI Rizal Bank is looking forward to opening more branches before the year ends. This is part of the collective goal of CARD MRI in reaching eight million clients in 2020 and insure 40 million individuals.

To date, CARD MRI Rizal Bank has more than 400,000 microfinance clients nationwide. CARD MRI, on the other hand, is reaching more than 5.9 million clients and insures more than 25 million individuals.
