Who We Are
Health program is an important aspect of poverty alleviation yet many Filipinos lack access to affordable and effective medicines. For one, buying can be difficult as most of them would rather spend for basic necessities like food and shelter. Meanwhile, those who can afford medicines are unable to buy them because of the lack of accessible and reliable drugstore in their area. CARD MRI saw this and thus, BotiCARD Inc. was established to provide CARD MRI members, employees, and dependents access to affordable and quality medicines.
What We Do
BotiCARD Inc. offers not only medicines but health services delivered with a heart. Through the range of services it offers, BotiCARD Inc. hopes to reach more communities in order to provide the quality products and services they deserve.
How We Do Things
BotiCARD is no ordinary drugstore; we reach clients right at their doorstep through the strategies that we are currently implementing. One of which is the Affordable Quality Medicine Program (AQMP). Through AQMP, we are able to deliver medicines right at their clients’ doorstep through the Barangay Posts (BPs) owned by CARD clients. We also make medicines available during community clinics. Another strategy we implement is the visit to CARD center meetings and CARD branches near the BotiCARD branch. We bring with us home remedies and information about medicines available at BotiCARD Inc. and encourage the clients and staff to buy from the nearest BotiCARD Pharmacy. To make medicines more affordable for the staff, we also offers employee loan which the staff can pay at a later period.
